The Studio

From August 2019 I will be running printmaking masterclasses at my studio in Valentines Mansion, Ilford. We will looking at the history of wood engraving, copper engraving and drypoint, examining original works by Thomas Bewick, William Blake, William Hogarth, Wenceslaus Hollar, Matteo Piccioni, George Cruikshank, Gertrude Hermes, Clare Leighton and others (yes, original works, not reproductions or digital images) and then testing the techniques and printing them.

Small groups – 3 maximum, full day session (11.00 to 4.30). Materials and tools supplied.
